"We came expecting to walk a distance to the main shopping area. We were pleasantly surprised the unit is just in the heart of the Hongdae area. The rooms are clean, and even had a welcome basket with snacks in it. The owner is very nice and replied to my queries very fast. The bathrooms come equipped with most necessities less toothbrush but we brought our own. There is a total of 3 queen size beds and one sofa bed. Comes with a kitchen and dining area with fridge, microwave and pots for cooking...

The 1 Line is a straight line to Jamsil and Lotte Tower and popular stops in central Seoul. Shopping on Honguate is just about 5/10 minute walk. Olive Young store for a comprehensive selection of Korean skincare is super close as well to the Daol Guesthouse....

"Great location and super helpful host Jin who went out of her way to ease our trip. The hill leading to the guesthouse is pretty manageable unless you are carrying heavy luggage. The building is older and there are some signs of gentle wear and tear, but Jin made a great effort to make it comfortable, and it provides excellent value given the price, location, and amount of space for our family of 4. "Glad I found this place when my other hotel reservation fell through! I booked last minute and all of the reviews I read were right—it’s clean, quiet, and convenient to access in Seoul. One thing I didn’t necessarily know (but I probably could have found on the website) is that it is not luggage friendly or handicap accessible. That’s not any fault of the owners, but I FYI to others, I did have to drag several suitcases up three floors! "
