Some visitors might feel that the location was not good, because there is a long uphill from the station to the hotel. 「The hotel is perfectly located for both the Theatre Royal and Ustinov Theatre as you can walk to either in about thirty seconds! There are also numerous bars, coffee shops and restaurants in the immediate area.
Despite being centrally located, I didn't hear any noise from outside at all.
My room was quite compact but very comfortable, the shower was great as was the bed.

「To attend conferences, I stayed here. The hotel is so near from the many sightseeing spots of Bristol, also there are a lots nice staffs in the hotel. Moreover, the bar 'the square' which is under the hotel is so good about appreciating the atmosphere and cocktails.
