Top Bath Hotel Reviews

The Royal Hotel
6/10 Okay
"The Royal Hotel has a couple of things going for it — it’s directly across the street from the train station AND it has a lift!
A couple of things going against it — the WiFi reminded me of dial-up, glacially slow and iffy. Also, there doesn’t seem to be a way for a guest to set the room temp. Unless you count the tabletop plug-in fan?
Staff were generally helpful, Tim at the front desk and the women working the breakfast room, too.

Hampton by Hilton Bath City
8/10 Good
"Room was excellent. Staff at reception was helpful. Location is convenient. Breakfast was a bit basic in comparison, same as in budget ibis I stayed just days before. Expected more variety and better quality."

The Z Hotel Bath
8/10 Good
"Great location and ideally placed for all the main attractions. The room was small, compact and quiet and had everything I needed.
The hotel was great value for the money"

The Gainsborough Bath Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Let’s start with the hotel itself, it is stunning, tucked away but also walking distance from pretty much everything, the main lobby is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and easy to get to.
The room - It was one of the courtyard rooms, it was spacious, clean, well-appointed and the bed was wonderful, the courtyard is accessible from the room itself through some French doors and very private, it has a good sized TV and the bathroom was wonderful, they give you good quality loo paper (Yes, that’s more important than you think.) Tea and coffee with a coffee machine and the room even had a radio. All in all, 10/10.
The Bar – It is a small personal bar, but there are lounges to relax so plenty of space even though it feels personal, a huge selection of drinks and cocktails to choose from and expertly put together and severed by staff that know what they are doing, we will talk about them soon.
The Restaurant – We had breakfast and 1 evening meal here, and the food was amazing, good quality and cooked to perfection, and excellent range to choose from, good portion sizes and served quickly without being rushed.
The Staff – Well what can I say? The staff were second to none, from the minute we walked throu"
