"Nice hotel and casino. Parking is in the back so it is a short walk to the door. Slightly misleading when booking regarding pool. Pool and hot tub is not at golden nugget, you have to drive up the hill to the sister property. We didn’t use the pool anyway so it wasn’t a big deal. I would have liked to use fitness area but it didn’t open til 8 and was also at the sister property. Bottom line we would stay here again, but the little gotchas about pool being at a different address would...

"This is a very special place in my home state of Colorado. It doesn't take much imagination to feel like you are 150 years removed from the present day in this spot which is 2 block walk (uphill but just one way) to center of town. So very fun and a well kept secret so I apologize to the staff if I'm giving it away. But too good and fun not to comment. Thanks Bill and we hope to see you soon!"

"Home is great. Nice and clean. Loved that I could bring my little buddy Oliver (dog). We just hung out. Needed a break from town and work. Picked a bad week to check things out. Road crew was there the whole time. Lots of traffic. So we hung out and cooked good food on my little griddle that fit on the grill. We would stay there again. Want to go have dinner in town sometime or check out the mountains.Thank you, Sam & Oliver!"

"For the price the Hotel was conveniently located to the attractions in Manitou Springs.. the room was spacious and clean and all the Employees were friendly.. the free breakfast had lots of choices .. the parking was ample easily accessible and free for the guests.. one of my favorites was that there was a Creek behind the Hotel and the windows in the rooms were operational so you could open them for the fresh mountain air and the beautiful sound of the creek .. overall a Great stay and recommend this property "
