"room could have been a little cleaner"

"On our last night at Circus Circus Hotel. I woke up at 3am because I heard someone walking around our room but our room was locked and there’s no way that anyone can get in. I pretended to be asleep because I was very scared to open my eyes and look at it. I waited for it to go away, I prayed but suddenly I can’t remember how Our Father and Hail Mary goes, impossible for me to forget how it goes because I know it by heart and been praying those prayers all my life.
