"Better than average hotel"

"Boutique hotel near a streetcar stop. Clean room with full kitchen and den area. Extremely comfortable bed. The decor is funky but fun. Due to Portland being in the news so much, I googled “safe place to stay in Portland” and I felt safe here although they did warn us not to leave anything visible in our car. "

"The property was beautiful and clean. However, the staff was not as hospitable as we Southerners are accustomed. The front desk workers could not answer any questions about the surrounding area, where to eat, etc."
