Danish invaders first built a fortress here in 914 to protect the town of Warwick. Great breakfast, great location and lovely staying in an historic property - wonderful potential for a party or fdmily gsthering. Comfy bed and spacious room. Coujd do with a makeover in parts but don’t sacrifice its current charm..

Great castle to visit, good history lesson. The current management are really geared to squeeze more money from visitors. Wasn't like this 20 years ago. Needs some cleaning and repairs in places. Spider/dust webs visible in places.
