Property was not well maintained, dirty, and host declined to reply to messages.

Cabin door locks falling off, smoke detector dismantled, light bulbs burned out with no replacements, lack of usable pots and pans, appliances were dirty, coffee pot had old used grounds in it, no extra linens for pullout couches, crusted toothpaste in sinks, and host refused to reply to messages sent.

The whole place was DIRTY. We arrived and the rugs were full of rocks and debris, the floors had not been swept, the patio window as so dirty that there appeared to be foggy looking out, The stairs were so dirty that you could write your name in the dust. There was dirty dishes in the dishwasher, as there was no dishwasher fluid to run it. When we pulled out untensils from the drawer they were dirty with dried food. No dishrags or towels to clean up. The cupboards were dirty, the micowave had food build up. There was food in the fridge and the was dried on food in the fridge. The shower had a gray ring of soap scum, no smoke detectors, there was sheet rock was coming off throughout the cabin, There was several spots of water damage that was never fixed. The front door does not open and close correctly, you have to push to open it and slam it to shut it. the firepit was buried in weeds. NEVER STAY THERE unless you want to clean before you bring in your items.
