"Parking garage was great. seeing as it was in the city and knowing there is no need to look for parking outside the hotel. Only one desk staff, who seemed overwhelmed with no extra help. Also from my constant going in and out of the hotel, it seems as if the person had no break for at least 7 hours straight. Which I figured contributed to me not being informed that I would have to keep my keycard when checking out, to get out of the garage. Communication is essential to smooth running of a business. I had to return to an empty, unmanned desk and retrieve my keycard, which I had left there for someone to take care of. Unmanned desk=no information given. Terrible scenario."

"This is one of the most impressive historical hotels we have experienced and this includes the Mayflower Hotel in Washington DC. The history and architecture is unbelievable. The staff, exceptional, along with the services provided during our time at the hotel. The brunch, delectable."

The hotel is under construction and restaurant is not opened, which was a little inconvenient. It would have been nice to know before arriving. The staff was friendly."

My stay was only marred by the very noisy family next door -- and the fact that I could hear the kids arguing late at night through the shared wall. Not really the Commonwealth's fault but the one reason I gave 4 rather than 5 stars. (I could also hear the elevator dinging outside my door.)"
