"Our stay to view the totality of the eclipse on 4/8/24 was outstanding. The clouds cooperated and the view from the deck was perfect to watch the moon's slow march across the face of the sun - and then to be plunged into darkness surrounded by the trees and mountains was otherworldly. The house was neat, clean, and had everything we wanted or needed. Marty and Melissa were the perfect hosts with super easy and fast communication. "We went on the off season, but the restaurant in the resort was still open. The resort is right on the corner of the main street so it is close to shopping, dining, and Mirror lake! Very convenient. The parking was also very easy, and again put us right at main street so we walked to dinner every night. There is an indoor pool and hot tub at the main resort and also across the street at the Lodge. Staff was very friendly. Refreshments in the lobby and sparkling wine given to us at check in! "
