"Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The location was excellent and very convenient for exploring Venice. One of the young gentlemen working there was especially kind and helpful — he proactively helped us carry our luggage, which we really appreciated. The complimentary drinks available downstairs every day were also a lovely touch and very refreshing after a long day of walking around Venice. The main issue was inconsistent communication regarding the water taxi. Before our arrival, we specifically asked the hotel about water taxi availability. We were told, “Unfortunately no,” and that we could find one at a private water taxi station. Based on that information, we arrived by water bus with all of our luggage. However, after checking in, we were told that the hotel could in fact arrange a water taxi, which we then used on our departure day. It would have been very helpful to have been given this option before our arrival, especially when traveling with several pieces of luggage. The pricing information was also inconsistent. We were initially quoted €80 for the water taxi. When we confirmed it again the following day, we were told €90. After we pointed out that we had been quoted €80 the day before, they agreed to honor the original price. It worked out in the end, but clearer and more consistent communication would have made the experience much smoother. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the excellent location, complimentary drinks, and especially the very helpf"

"The view from our balcony on the grand Canal in Venice was amazing, looking to the right you saw the Rialto Bridge, across the canal, beautiful hotels, and to the left a stunning view of the canal. The staff was wonderful, very helpful with any need we had. Our room, a junior suite, was beautiful and extremely clean."

"We took a private water taxi from the airport to the hotel and it was so easy and quick + fun experience. We cannot say enough great things about this property location (location, location location!). That being said, upon arrival, we were early (jet lagged and tired). They accommodated our luggage to hold until the room was ready. We were in desperate need of drinks- we received a free drink and there were lots of choices (thank you!) the lobby area was amazing, we could rest and hang out and there was a bathroom. We went out exploring and our room was ready and they took our luggage up the 4th floor (again thank you assisting after a long travel). I will say the girl working the day of our arrival spent lots of time with us- very friendly and helpful. Our adult daughter was tired and she assured us that she would be fine staying in the lobby until the room was ready. The building is next to a church and we could hear the bells ring and we had several windows with charming views. The area was quiet and restful. It was close to everything! We would stay here again."

"Due to a cancelled flight, I ended up spending an extra weekend in Venice and moved over to Lido. The staff was excellent! I had some laundry done and then they were able to give me a steamer plus a fan and extra pillows. Ivan was so helpful to me and assisted in booking a private water taxi for me too. It was a hot weekend, but the hotel js great AC. The pool is also beautiful and relaxing. Dont miss the bruschetta while sunbathing. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. While we were up there a strange hail storm appeared from nowhere. The staff helped us all and gave us new drinks. I dined at the restaurant one night and it was excellent. Breakfast is generous and everything is made to order. The spa may be the best ever. The hotel has a traditional Thai massage center. I was dealing with a back injury and recent surgery so I needed a fully custom massage and remain on my back. My therapist PM offered me the most relaxing and healing massage ever. Overall, this was a perfect and relaxing weekend. Worth the trip to lido!!!"
