Huge windows overlooking a breathtaking view. This property is embellished with the popular Alaskan art of Rhonda Wegner Taylor. Guests enjoy being right next to skiing, sledding, walking and hiking trails within walking distance of downtown Valdez, shops, restaurants, museums, tours and much more. Wildlife is abundant right outside your door. Delicious baked goods make our continental breakfast something to look forward to.

I’ve stayed in Valdez a couple times and this was way better than the hotels there! First off it was super clean and cozy and quiet. We had everything we needed and we enjoyed the fresh baked bread! A wonderful stay.

This is a beautiful property well maintained well manicured and well supplied. The host has thought of everything from home baked goods to amenities that the guest may have forgotten. I enjoyed staying here and I would love to come back here.

This is a very clean place with an excellent view! We felt very safe the entire time during our stay. A sweet neighbor was coming over with homemade jam for our hosts and was very friendly. So close to the harbor, restaurants, downtown museum, and convention center. Not a far drive to the hatchery where we saw lots of wildlife every day. Self check-in was easy. We enjoyed the birds by our bedroom window, even heard 2 different kind of owls on our Merlin app. The hosts were easy to communicate with and quick in response time. The snickerdoodle cookies were very yummy and we enjoyed the mango canned drinks too. Nice hosts with clear instructions. It was a peaceful stay. We'd stay there again if in the area.

We met both Krista and Lee and they were delightful hosts. We were shocked at how perfect this place was in comparison to our expectations. The porch with its view made it even more special. Everything was undersold if anything. I would highly recommend their place.

Very nice place to stay. Hosts are very kind and bake-good were made and left for us during the stay. The place is the bottom floor of the hosts house, and you can hear the hosts walking around upstairs (but it wasn’t super loud). The only thing I wish they had were curtains for the windows. In the spring and summer in Alaska the sun is up most of the day and night, and not having curtains and just blinds, the apartment was very bright all the time and hard to sleep/stay asleep.

Charming, comfortable place

We had a very pleasant one-night stay. I appreciated that everything was so clear, and yet we didn’t have to have endless conversation with the hosts to check in - it felt so private. The place is very spacious, so comfortable, very nice linens, and a great little kitchenette station. Most importantly: it’s totally not weird 😅 that is one of my biggest concerns about staying at a B&B style place. This space is super comfy, homey, clean, and welcoming; smells good and has delicious baked treats provided. Thank you so much!

Excellent all around.

My wife and i were only there 2 nights, but it was great. A couple blocks away from downtown, on a hill with a great view. No traffic since you're at the side of a culdesac. Super clean, lots of natural light. Fresh bread on arrival Tv isn't easily viewable from the bed or couch. There is a stairway right next to the bed and you can hear activity in the kitchen upstairs. Highly recommended, and we'd stay again.

Clean, comfortable, and everything you need!

This room was PERFECT for our stay in Valdez. We stayed 3 nights. The room was incredibly clean which is very important to me and bed was very comfortable! There was a microwave, toaster, kuerig machine with several coffee pods available to use and the host stocked the fridge with fresh milk, yogurts and other things! The room had really everything we could need with so many special touches. My ONLY feedback would be to install blackout curtains for the summer months. Sometimes it was hard to sleep because it was light out all night. I would 1000% stay here again.
