"We had a very pleasant one-night stay. I appreciated that everything was so clear, and yet we didn’t have to have endless conversation with the hosts to check in - it felt so private. The place is very spacious, so comfortable, very nice linens, and a great little kitchenette station. Most importantly: it’s totally not weird 😅 that is one of my biggest concerns about staying at a B&B style place. "What a place this is! We absolutely loved our stay at this stunning home in the beautiful McCarthy. We were very lucky to book this gorgeous accommodation, there isn’t a house like it in the area. "Stayed with 2 adult sons while skiing at Alyeska. It's a quick drive to the resort. The 3 separate bedrooms worked great. The hot tub is awesome. One thing to note is the home covers 4 floors, so it may not be a good fit if stairs are difficult."

"Our family travels quite often to different ski resorts and have mixed reviews on places we've stayed. This is an excellent location and there is an abundance of space and beds in this property. It's well kept and very clean! We were able to make the short walk across part of the parking lot across the street to get to the slopes/lifts. It was even easy for my children (14 & 9) to walk and carry equipment. I would highly recommend this property to anyone traveling to Alyeska!"

"Bare sheetrock with nails sticking out in the bathroom, kitchen cabinets were dirty, oven filthy, hot tub was so low on water it was sucking air, fireplace didn't work, the "comforter" on my bed was an unzipped sleeping bag. Vacasa, said they would send someone over and no one ever showed. This was the worst Girdwood rental I have ever been in and I have been coming here for twenty years."

We only had the one night here to break up our journey from Fairbanks to McCarthy and the only thing that was disappointing is that we couldn’t stay longer!
