"This is probably the best hotel we have stayed at for many years. From the moment we arrived at reception the staff were always on hand if you needed anything. Every member was courteous, friendly and professional, always checking if we needed anything to make our stay more pleasant. Our room was a Superior double and had a beautiful view and was cleaned everyday. There was a wide choice of foods on the menu, which was excellent and they have an amazing chef. We were there to attend a residential weekend where we sang at a concert on the Sunday afternoon, and even here the staff were on hand to ensure everything was provided in time. We managed to visit the hotel’s spa which is a must for anyone who chooses to stay at this hotel. Thank you to all staff."

"We stayed for 2 nights at the angel hotel to see will Smith in concert at Cardiff castle. The hotel is in a great location, very central for everything and right opposite the castle. And only a 10 minute walk from Cardiff central station. The hotel is lovely, with a very grand entrance and lobby area with the iconic double staircase. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Our family room was huge! 2 separate bedrooms which was perfect. And a huge super kind comfy bed. We had breakfast both mornings at the hotel. It was really good value for money. Plenty of choice and great service in the restaurant. Overall excellent stay, we would definitely visit the hotel again 10/10"

"Excellent stay - spacious, clean room with great views. Hotel grounds well maintained and great to be able to use the pool and spa area. Enjoyed the garden room in the restaurant. Only thing lacking was a fridge in the room which would have been ideal. "
