「We stayed in this hotel last night for 1 night. The location is perfect to get to Ross-on-Wye and is located on A road. The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. 2 rooms were allocated to us opposite each other which was convenient for a family. Large rooms and bathrooms, very clean with attention to details. Very comfy bed. Food was also very good. My children loved it. Overall great experience. We are planning to go back for a long weekend in September and will definitely stay in...

Although quite a treck around narrow winding lanes to get there...it was definitely worth it. Lovely family-run bed and breakfast...I would highly recommend it. 「A well equipped room with an excellent bed, large TV, fridge and good shower. The room was tastefully decorated and of a decent size. I really appreciated the welcome gifts of biscuits, water and milk too. Breakfast was excellent and a very generous portion. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. I would also recommend the evening meals and good selection of ales - both of which were high quality. 」

「A lovely place to stay and would not think twice about returning. The views from the property are outstanding. Just a short drive to Monmouth High Street with plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. Hosts are more than welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was perfect - variety of cereals, fruit, juice and tea/coffee to choose from and the full English was cooked to perfection. You won't be disappointed if you stay 」

「I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). 」

「ウエルカムドリンクとして、紅茶を頂きました。その際も、紅茶の好みを聞いていただき、翌朝の朝食の際も好みを覚えてていただき、とても親近感がわきました。又、お嬢様が依然日本で英語の教師をしていて、オーナーご夫婦も訪日した経験からとても親日的で温かいもてなしを受けました。お庭や前庭のお花もとてもきれいにお手入れされていて癒されました。シャワーの温度水量も十分で快適に過ごせました。」

「Fabulous stay at this gorgeous BnB with charming hosts. Loved the spacious ensuite room with soaking tub. Breakfast was perfect and the shared living space (with breathtaking Brecon Beacon views) was so comfortable that H enjoyed posting up there for work. Would love to return for a longer (than 2 night) visit and check out more of the hundreds of nearby hikes. 」
