Top Tintern Abbey Hotel Reviews

The Beaufort Hotel

The Beaufort Hotel

8/10 Good
"The room was much cheaper than other Chepstow rooms. It was clean and had what I needed so I was happy enough to stay two nights. More traffic noise than the Marston's, for example, and less plush but it's half the price. Staff were helpful. Parking was easy."

Country Cottage With Truly Amazing Views Over The River Wye valley. Pet friendly

Country Cottage With Truly Amazing Views Over The River Wye valley. Pet friendly

10/10 Excellent
"This was our fourth stay at Bank Cottage and every bit as enjoyable as our other stays. The weather was hot and made full use of the decking and gazebo which gave ample shade combined with magnificent views and plums and apples on hand! Harry, our Collie, loved the enclosed garden with ample space for chasing his ball. The beds are very comfortable and bathroom enjoys splendid view across the wye valley. We spent one hot day at Clearwell Caves a short drive away, also canoed on the Wye and visited the Butterfly Farm. Plenty to do and combine with several walks. It is the perfect base for a holiday in this area."

Wallhope Retreat - Chepstow, spectacular views

Wallhope Retreat - Chepstow, spectacular views

10/10 Excellent
"Wallhope Retreat could set the gold standard for holiday cottages! We booked for the wonderful view and the hot tub, but were wowed by the whole experience. The cottage is beautifully decorated, well equipped and comfortable - the bedding is like sleeping on a cloud! Wonderfully peaceful, with nothing but birdsong and the cows to listen to, the comfortable garden furniture is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy it. Tucked away beside the kitchen is a small courtyard which was the perfect spot for morning coffee too. We couldn’t have asked for more from a holiday cottage, it really sets the gold standard for how to do it - they’ve thought of everything and got it absolutely right."
