"Lovely apartment in rural Germany with excellent hosts. The only downside for this well equipped apartment was the bedroom was upstairs accessed by not much more than a ladder - a little tricky for us older folk. Service and support by the hosts was brilliant."

"Good location in the old town area. Room was quite large and breakfast was very good. Check-in closes at 8pm (strange). Our train was delayed so we knew we wouldn’t be there before 8pm. I called head of time and they arranged to have our room key put in a lock box at the front door. Certainly there is no staff in sight after 8pm. There is no A/C in the room and even in May it was pretty stuffy (I did notice a fan in the closet though). "

"Great hotel in a convenient location. We needed a twin room which was accommodated. Very clean. Great hot water pressure. Room was basic but spacious. There's an elevator which is helpful as we were on the 4th floor. Breakfast was simple and delicious. Eggs, meats, toast, crescents, cheeses, sausages, yogurts, veggies etc. And nice service. Close walk to the Christmas market and the train station. "

"Pension Teichblick was everything we could have hoped for and more. In general we felt we paid well over the odds in most places as we travelled across Germany. But Pension Teichblick was far and away the exception. And don't think that means low quality, it doesn't. We were totally satisfied with the accomodation Pension Teichblick offered. "The castle and its park are beautiful and the property is extremely quiet. We enjoyed the great breakfast buffet. Not so good was the restaurant (we ordered a package with a three course dinner). The waiter was not well trained, the menu card showed a different dessert than we were served. The food itself was ok. "
