「Lovely place to stay」

「部屋は清潔感があり居心地が良かったです。４歳、１歳の子供を含む家族4人での滞在でしたが快適に過ごせました。 ただ滞在直前にホテルのレストランでの夕食を予約しようとしたら満席で予約できませんでした。評判が良さそうだっただけに残念でした。ホテルでの夕飯を考えている場合は早めの予約をお勧めします。 ただ、車で少し行ったところにある家族連れでも入りやすいレストラン(チェーン店やバーですが)の場所を大変丁寧に教えてくださりとても助かりました。 今回は2月の滞在だったためぶどう畑も枯れ木のようでしたが、ちょっとした散歩道などもありいい時期に来ればさぞかし気持ちの良いところだと思いました。夜は星がたくさん見えました。」

「Had a lovely 2 night stay in the Barn. The owners and staff have been very helpful and accommodating. Close proximity to Margam Park with stunning walks and cycle paths. A shop and places to eat also close by. Would highly recommend」

「Stayed in cabin 3, and despite reading some recent negative reviews, we were very happy with the room. It was clean, well stocked and the view over the lake in the morning was amazing. Breakfast was very nice and had lots of variety. Our only small gripe was the beds weren’t particularly comfortable. Mattresses are subjective and we were only there 1 night. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to stay there again. It’s also only 25 minutes from Cardiff centre. 」

「We stayed overnight for my husband’s birthday. Spa treatments were great for each of us and we made use of the pool and jacuzzi for an extra charge. The meal in the Blok was exquisite!! Brandon served us and was very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. In fact all the staff were friendly and helpful over and above the usual service you find anywhere else. There was plenty of choice at breakfast - well worth the price. The Hotel was tastefully furnished and decorated with quirky...

「We had a lovely couple of nights at the Bear Hotel. Room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. Only very slight negative on room, was that on our first night, we could only get luke-warm water from the shower. Ate in the restaurant and meal was good quality overall. Service in restaurant was a little slow and lacking some attention to detail but pleasant all the same. Will happily return to stay here again, and plan to do so.」

「I have stayed here twice before. The welcome from Lyndon is great. The breakfast is freshly cooked and plenty of it. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom was clean. However the wardrobe was in need of repair and the fridge had old food in it. The bedside cabinets had a layer of dust but I base my review on comfort and hospitality 」

「This was our second stay at The Great House. Last time we had a room in the hotel building this time it was in the "annex". Very comfortable, large room. Staff were all really nice, very good breakfast on both days. Enjoyed the cocktails too. Thanks to all the team.」

「Blanco' exceeded expectations. Large comfortable room, immaculate with helpful, cheerful, polite staff. Hot chocolate and biscuits in room a nice touch and excellent variety at breakfast, fresh fruit, pastries, toast, cereals and hot buffet. Good position for walking into town.」

「値段の割には、部屋も広めですし、清潔に保たれていてよかったです。シャワーのみでしたが、水圧も問題ありませんし、気持ちよく利用できました。床がカーペット敷きですので、重いトランクの方は２階まで上げるのに、かなり苦労します。部屋は駐車場側と庭側に面していますが、庭側の部屋は、風通しよくしようと夜に窓をあけると、恐ろしい程の虫が入ってくるので、気をつけてください。それでも昼間は庭にウサギが遊んでいたりと、美しい光景です。」
