「I booked this place knowing little other than it was close enough to Cardiff for us to stay after the Bruce Springsteen concert. It was very well appointed, with a well equipped kitchen / dining room, spacious wet room, large bedroom and lounge with a sofa bed. And a hot tub in the communal garden area! One point that is not related to the accommodation that I wish I’d known - some of the roads are very narrow and as it’s a very hilly area there are a few hairpin bends which I found difficult...

「A last minute booking. The receptionist greeted us and was very polite. She actually took us to the room which was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and comfortable and a good size. Breakfast was really good, i was even allowed to take a plate up to the room for my daughter who did not want to get out of bed. I would definitely stay there again if ever i am in the area.」

「Good value hotel about a mile from the city centre. Doors are all combination so there is no worry about losing the key. Room had to be reprogrammed but the staff did this quickly and cheerfully. Very helpful and welcoming.」

「We had an overnight stay here which was very convenient for seeing a concert at Utilita Arena in Cardiff. The check in was very fast. The manager was very friendly and helpful by carrying our luggage to our room. The room is clean and comfortable. The full English breakfast was very good and served piping hot. I highly recommend this hotel/pub. 」

「Booked a one night stay as plan last minute changed. Breakfast excellent plenty of choice and good quality. Just a small complaint felt the pillows were a bit lumpy and struggled to get to sleep. Also one of the mugs were chipped in the room All in all a good stay and probably stay again when in area 」

We were in the newer part of the hotel and rooms are really generous in size and added bonus of French doors which you can open unlike a lot of hotels now where fresh air is impossible!!!
