I’d definitely recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Tokyo! The breakfast is Japanese-style rather than American, and I actually loved that. The room is a bit small, but it’s super quiet and just a short walk from the station, so it’s really convenient for getting to Tokyo Station, Disneyland, Ginza, and more.

It’s comparable to a premier inn. It’s a good, clean and reliable option with no issues or hassle. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s a very good budget option.

This hotel offers cleaning services for stays over three nights and is a good value. Rooms are very small, which is typical for Tokyo. There are several other APAs in the area, so I would recommend just booking the most economical option since they all seemed alike.

I have stayed at an APA branded hotel before and this one did not disappoint. It was clean and quiet. The room was small, but the space was used efficiently. The hotel had a breakfast option that was very affordable and the food was good! The property was close to the metro and to the Ginza and Tsukiji shopping and dining options.

Convenient location to multiple stations and convenience stores located nearby. However the mattress is pretty hard, leading to me having back pain and the bathroom is tiny. Hard to move around and without hitting a wall or bathtub/toilet.

Lost in Translation

Apa Hotels have been my go to in Japan. So far they haven't disappointed. Sometimes I go to the wrong one because there are so many of them. When I do, the staff at the wrong hotel are very helpful giving me directions to my actual hotel.

I was assigned to second floor or the hotel for 2 nights stay, the corridor is always filled with used/ unused bedsheet and hotel room supplies - daytime and nighttime - looks like it’s their storage floor. There are staff walking around and closing doors hardly even at 2am and it’s very noisy. Staff are not so polite. The district is ok though with convenient stores, subways and restaurants in walkable distance. Would not come again for sure.
