「We had a horrible experience before coming to this place so we were extraordinarily happy to find a clean location. This place is brand new so it’s very clean and wonderful. The only thing I would say is that if you’re planning a big visit to Tamarindo stay at this place in 2027 and check that the construction is finished. 「This property is awesome! It’s nice and spread out, but not so much that you have to walk far to get to other buildings/pools, etc. There is a road between the buildings, but it’s super safe to cross, and not even that big of a deal. The rooms are very nice and clean and look just like the photo’s. There are 4 pools, and one swim up bar. Daily breakfast consists of a huge buffet, with something different each day. 「While the staff was amazing and the property was very beautiful, the roads to get to the hotel were not paved. Not only were they not paved but at some point they (local government) closed the entrance and no one was notified. It took me contacting the hotel so the concierge could walk us through how to get to the hotel. It was not until two days later when I complained that we received a letter and a map. This was not well planned with the city. Very disappointing.」

「De la Playa was amazing. We had security at night to make us feel safe. We had access to its sister hotel right next door, the Tamarindo Diara. Both hotels were right on the beach with beautiful ocean views. Highly recommend this property, staff was amazing, you will not be disappointed, will be back soon」

「Our stay in The Coast hotel was really amazing. The staff are really nice and accommodating to our needs. The hotel itself is amazing with a pool and beach access. The hotel is close to downtown tamarindo which is a plus if you’re looking for some peace and relaxation away from the busy downtown. We enjoyed our experience and will definitely come back if we get the chance.」
