"Stayed at Ben’s guesthouse for 3 days and two night. The washer and dryer was a really good addition, the space was clean and it was nice to have amenities like the kitchen. It was fairly a decent size for three people but the only struggle was the four flight of stairs but besides that I had a wonderful stay!"

"The room was clean and spacious for a solo traveler like me. The check in the process was smooth and simple as was the check out. Definitely would recommend this place for solo travelers and the like!"

"The staff at the front desk was very helpful. We love being able to cook some eggs and toast for breakfast a few days because we had pots and pans that we could use. The location is close to a station which makes things easy. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the fact that we could easily walk to some neighborhood grocery stores when we needed things. There are also convenience stores and pharmacies nearby. Great little spot."

Between the ancient Haniwa clay figures at Historic Haniwa Factory Park and the lush greenery of Settsukyo Park, Takatsuki offers fascinating glimpses into both history and nature. Spend afternoons exploring the interactive exhibits at Biohistory Research Hall before unwinding with family-friendly games at ROUND1 STADIUM Takatsuki.
Our family of three really enjoyed our stay at MONday Apartment Hotel. There was plenty of space for the three of us and all our luggage (three large suitcases and three smaller bags). Beds were luxury firm and supportive. I especially appreciated the kitchenette, which allowed me to prepare simple breakfasts for the family each morning. There were also several convenience stores and a supermarket nearby with everything we needed.

The hotel itself is not exactly right near much….but you walk 10 minutes and suddenly you are near everything: Kyoto Station, shopping, restaurants, bars. We liked that….the serenity of the hotel and the immediate area, but quick to everything you could want. The hotel itself is small, but very modern and well maintained. The room was perfect for us 5. Plenty of room, a mini kitchen setup, very comfortable. Also, because Kyoto bus transportation is so solid, and there is a bus stop 1 minute...

This hotel is absolutely amazing. We learned it opened about a month ago. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was spacious for our family of 4 and was so very clean and the decor was inviting. The bathroom is just as amazing. It was large with a sauna and a separate glassed room with a shower and tub. The hotel offers free coffee, lattes etc at all times with a state of the art machine in the lobby. Breakfast is offered for free every morning. The hotel is in an amazing...

The front desk staff was amazing at this apartment style hotel. I wasn't expecting first class service but we definitely got it! They provided us a dinner recommendation, booked the taxi and booked the table. It was one of the best dinners we had in Japan and was in Pontocho Alley, which is a pretty popular area! The room was beautiful, everything was comfortable. Had a great experience!

This hotel is in a great location with really modern rooms and very comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel while visiting Kyoto. Staff was very friendly and helped us with the check-in process and also to call an uber driver during the checkout.

Hotel is brand new as of 10/25/2026 our stay was perfect. Front desk was nice. An extra towel which is rare for japan. Paper towels. Plenty of space. Great location. Perfect for central location and not too far from going to Universal Studios. Best hotel of our Japan trip. Will likely just book this brand for all hotels when we come back.

We are family of 4 (2 adults and 2 11 yrs old). We stayed here for 3 nights. This place met all our expectations. Staffs were super helpful and friendly. We arrived early and our room was not available. They held our luggage for us and moved it in our room when room became available.
We loved our room. Room is spacious, clean. Has mini fridge, microwave, dish ware, utensils, small stove top, 1 king bed, bunk bed, washer and dryer for laundry, dining table and toilet and shower is in...

Property is in nice neighborhood, very close to bus stops/routes (<2 min), directly accessible from Kyoto station. Hotel is near several tourist locations and immediately walkable. Room size is decent with table, with washer but no dryer. Not a lot of drying rack/space though, and there is no external area to dry it outside. Not a lot of utensils/plates, but we made do. Electric locks for main door and room access was somewhat unexpected, not sure if this is the norm nowadays (haven't traveled...

Nice apartment in a very nice neighborhood. Lots of amenities. Washer/dryer 2-in-1. Kitchenette with cooking utensils. Refrigerator and separate freezer. Shower area with tub you can soak in. Lots of nice little touches that show how much they care about your stay. Mr Dar, who checked me in, was very helpful and friendly. He is from Kashmir and spoke quite good English.

I stayed here and got 2 rooms for my family. The rooms were very clean and had great amenities. Staff was great and welcoming. Being about 10 minutes walk from Namba was very convenient and there were multiple Family Mart and 7/11s nearby

On Expedia, there are 10 lodging options in Takatsuki. Though you won't find many aparthotels, we can suggest places to stay that are similar such as a condo or apartment.
What should I see in Takatsuki?
Discover some favorite places in the larger area like Dotonbori and Universal Studios Japan. Settsukyo Park and Shofuen are a couple of scenic spots to enjoy the outdoors, whereas Shiroato History Museum is one of the cultural attractions. While in the area, you can also visit popular places like Osaka Castle and Kyocera Dome Osaka.
What is an aparthotel?
An aparthotel features the privacy and space of an apartment and amenities you might expect at a traditional hotel. Often these apartments will be situated in the center of Takatsuki, where you can meet the locals. Enjoy cooking in the private kitchen and having the space to spread out while you're in town.
