"Sunnyside is a gorgeous older property right on the lake. The room was comfortable, the shower fantastic (awesome water pressure), and the views spectacular. "
"Beautiful hotel in the great location of Olympic Valley. Room was very nice and clean with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was spacious. Pool/patio area was very inviting. "
"The hotel was beautiful, set back in the trees on the slopes so very quiet and outside of town. The beds/rooms were very comfortable, quiet and spacious. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The only complaint I had was that the main pool/pool restaurant were closed for renovation. This wasn’t noted during booking or on their website. They did offer use of the smaller spa pool with poolside service from another restaurant but it was quite a bit smaller. Overall it was a beautiful stay. "

Top Tahoe Treetop Adventure Park Hotel Reviews
Granlibakken Tahoe
10/10 Excellent
"Guys, this one is tough. This place is fantastic except for two things. First, our room was really small for two adults. The bathrooms were surprisingly big — which we loved. Last, the mattress is a covered coiled nightmare. They were ok at best, but nearly destroyed our aging backs. With the complaints out of the way I’ll say that the place is really good. The overall experience is what can only be described as “car/condo camping.” Campground feel and layout. Cozy lodge and restaurant — good mix of modern and old world charm. The rooms are, clean, cozy and very close to your vehicle— which I totally appreciated. The staff is AWESOME — totally guest-friendly. If they installed better mattresses it would be great. Ok for a short stay, but can’t spend a week sleeping on them — especially if you do any sort of exercise or mountain/lake activities. Close to everything in Tahoe City, lake, river and ski areas. Went in August. Will write another review when we return in winter. May bring our own mattress. LOL!"
"Awesome family vacation spot! We had great weather all week and my kids (in their 20's and 30's) ran me around from Truckee to South Lake Tahoe. My sister and her husband drove up from Pasadena and joined us for a few days. We rented a pontoon boat and the six of us spent a day on the lake. This was my first time in Tahoe and I think that the area is one of the most spectacularly beautiful places on earth. The house was big enough for all of us to be comfortable and the fenced in back yard was a bonus. My grand dog was in her glory chasing squirrels and chipmunks! We walked a lot.The West Shore Market was great for coffee and breakfast stuff and some souvenirs. The only minor issue I had was navigating the stairs. The bedrooms are not on the main floor, but the living room and one of the bathrooms are. The bear fences on the doors were a little difficult to get used to but it became a habit to hook them up. WE DIDN'T SEE ANY BEARS! Parking was a bit tight for three vehicles, but we managed to keep them off the road. Good times were had by all!"
"Serene, quiet, safe, tucked into the trees, convenient, clean, cozy mountain lodge room. This is a treasure of a spot to stay in. We recommend amazingly delicious. "Spoon" restaurant nearby. Emerald Bay, Sand Harbor, Cascade Falls Bayview Trail, Eagle Falls half hour hike. Meeks Bay. The Lake is a Devi. Thank you! "

"Great facilities. Loved the hot tub. Quick feedback about any concerns. WiFi was good. Loved walking through the forest down to Tahoe to have a coffee and cinnamon roll!"

"Quaint end unit condo in a great location. The complex has great amenities: hot tub, pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and restaurant. Check in process was easy and communication with owners was timely and efficient. Would recommend this listing and will be back."
