"When we arrived, we found out the pool was closed. We had told our grandson he could go swimming all he wanted. Imagine our surprise when we found out and had to tell the little guy also, we brought food (microwaveable) to eat, then found out there was no microwave"

"The property was very clean and was very impressed with how nice the staff was. You had to pay for breakfast-it is not free. No free coffee bar either. They were somewhat stingy on the towels. The first day I had wash cloths, hand towels and bath towels. The next day they only refilled the bath towels. Never received wash cloths again. They made the beds but did not sweep. My biggest complaint is that the pool and hot tub were closed due to maintenance during my 3 day stay. So I was extremely bummed even when they wouldn’t offer a small refund. They also double charged me for my stay. I paid back in March on Expedia and they charged my card when I got there. However the lady was able to give me a refund on the second charge once I brought it to her attention. I stayed here for the convenience of the convention center, but I might look around at other options next time."

"Waited 40 minutes for check-in. Clerk kept disappearing. Received an upgrade to a bigger bed because of it. The room also had a small kitchen devoid of any dishes or utensils but the literature said it could be ordered from the desk. Breakfast was coffee plus a "Grab and Go" which meant small fruit bars or muffins and packages of oat meal to make in a coffee cup with boiling water. Nothing cold, nothing healthy and only two seats available. You had to carry all these back to the room. The room had no bathroom safety bars, one roll of toilet paper, a kleenex box but no an alarm clock. You must have an I.D. to check in. Phone calls cost money whether completed or not. Internet was difficut to connect, had to call and get the password and the good internet cost more. Another strange feature is that there was only one door to get into the building and only one door leading to the back large, unlined parking lot. And it took a room key to drive into the parking lot. There were two chairs in the room, one desk chair and on soft chair. The telephone message lite blinked contiiuously for three nights even though there was no message. The bed was comfortable."

"Let me start off by saying it takes a LOT for me to write a bad review. The photos of this hotel are VERY deceiving. It is right by a huge casino which has lots of random people all around the surrounding area. It did not feel safe. There was even a mobile camera unit from a police department in the parking lot. Once we got inside the hotel, it felt safer since there was an armed guard on duty throughout the night. Our room smelled like dirty feet as soon as we walked in. We discovered that it was the carpet that smelled so bad. We also had a bullet hole in our window on the 5th floor! It might have been from a pellet gun but I have photos. The bed was surprisingly comfortable despite the mattress pad under the sheet being a size too small so it was just on top of the mattress instead of fitted around the corners. The breakfast was less than appealing. We are not super picky with hotel breakfasts. Give us some scrambled eggs & a waffle or fruit & we're good. They had biscuits & gravy but were out of biscuits. They only had hard boiled eggs & yogurt- not a fruit in site. Overall, we were super disappointed in just about everything with this stay."
