「Check-in was delayed by 2 hours with no warning. The whole house smelled like cigarette smoke when it was advertised that it was a non smoking house. It could be that the other guests were smoking inside because the patio that was supposed to available was full of trash. The 1st morning there was no toilet paper on the roll and no spare rolls in the bathroom. Not a good way to start the stay. I was given a bath towel and a bath mat but no hand towel or wash cloth. 「We sat outside in the car for more than 20 minutes, tried to contact the host, before we got a message from them saying we were being "relocated" and to talk to Expedia, who wasn't able to help. All in all, that was an hour of my life I'll never get back, which could have been prevented if the host had taken a minute to let us know ahead of time that the place was no longer available. Plus the backyard was littered with mildewing debris.」

「The owners Mike and Karen were wonderful and accommodating when we needed to arrive later than we hoped to check-in. The room was spacious and clean. The house has a full guest kitchen common living room area and a second full kitchen for staff to prepare breakfast for guests. Also the breakfasts were absolutely amazing - home cooked potatoes, eggs, fresh fruit, biscuits sausage juice and that was just first morning!
