「Quirky proprietress, especially at check-in, but after that lovely. The rooms were beautiful and were made up every day of our four-night stay. Breakfast was excellent, and the proprietress prepared it with care and flexibility for different dietary needs. Dog and cat co-hosts were adorable. Helpful tips on things to do and see were tailored to individual needs. All in all, this was a very enjoyable stay!」

「We had a perfect suite with a balcony and a little sitting room. The house is beautifully appointed with so many precious decor items making it jaw dropping beautiful. Cherly clearly has a talent for decorating and shopping. I usually wipe down everything in a room before we start unpacking but I really didn't feel the need to do that there. Everything is so clean and fresh. The breakfast was amazing, Cherly is an excellent cook. What a wonderful place to stay! Thank you, Cherly.」

「We wish we could live at Rita’s retreat all the time! Our room was nice and cozy. The backyard is so spacious and peaceful all the way down to the water. The indoor saltwater pool was icing on the cake! Mike was very accommodating, helpful and fun to talk to— I recommend Rita’s Retreat!」

「A gem of a property on a pristine, serene lake---with every amenity imaginable. Gazebo for lake gazing , dock for swimming and canoeing , easy paddle boat , vegetable gardens , cleared walkways , vista spots to special views and meditating ... and that's just the outdoors. Inside are designer touches, new appliances, stylish furniture, natural light, large rooms, and a great bed. And best of all the hosts who love this place and love sharing it. We felt blessed.」
