"We really like the property even though we were on the 1st floor. Our only complaint was the shower ceiling leaking from the floor above us into our shower which they could not fix the whole time we were there. We could not fully take a good shower and could not use the rain shower even and we informed the front desk or the management every day that it was not sanitary. They knew about it the day we checked in from previous guests and we were not given another room or any other compensation, therefore we cannot give it 5 stars.. Management was like "Oh well, I cannot do anything about it"."

"We had a great overall experience at this property. The resort is very well maintained, and the staff was consistently friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were excellent — as they should be considering the prices. Breakfast was included with our stay, and both the selection and service exceeded expectations. We actually preferred the lounge/bar menu over the main dinner menu, not because of cost, but simply due to the variety and flavor, so I’d recommend trying items from both menus during your stay. The beach itself was a bit underwhelming, mainly because of the nearby cruise ship traffic. The water was murkier than what we typically expect in SXM, and the sand had quite a few cigarette butts and pigeons around. That said, the front desk staff was extremely helpful in arranging taxis so we could explore other beaches across the island. One of the highlights of the property is its location at the base of a beautiful mountain, which creates amazing views from the boardwalk area. Just be aware that most shops and restaurants nearby tend to close around 5–6 PM once the cruise ships depart. Fortunately, there were still a few great spots within walking distance, and we felt safe throughout our stay"

"Great location. While it was not oceanfront, it was a just short walk to the ocean, with a direct path from the hotel passing their pool. Many restaurants, bars, grocery stores and cafés located either right next door and opposite, or within walking distance. Spacious, clean rooms with quality appliances. The only real drawback for me was I was not able to get an early check-in and the one elevator was very slow."
