Rooms were perfect and location was great for us. We walked to grocery store and a couple amazing restaurants in the water and a secluded beach was less than a mile walk.

The lobby and restaurant staff were very pleasant however our booking was for a room with 2 beds and on checking in we received a room with 1 bed only. They advised us that they were unable to do anything as they were fully booked. Expedia had to step in to fix this and the next day we were moved to a room with 2 beds. The restaurant had a long wait to get seated and to get our meals Not everyday we were given lotion and shampoo and the glasses in the room were not cleaned everyday On the plus side the location is very nice - walking distance to some very nice restaurants The staff was willing to help but seemed frustrated.

So glad i didnt listen to the previous reviews i saw. The room was nice and clean and they cleaned it every day. The pool and food was open 24 hours. The staff was nice. The view was nice although the property wasnt attached to a beach. My only concern was the shower, theres no barrier so the water sprayed hard and spread across the floor into the room and it didnt stay hot for long. Other than that, it served its purpose.

The room was very large, the staff were great. The balcony was big and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable, the hotel is so cute with all the art everywhere and statues too. Our only issue was the shower didn't drain well. The beach is right by some docks so we didn't ever swim there but it was a nice view for breakfast to eat there on the beach. The fake bird sounds at night were a little weird but not too loud to be annoying. The parking was tight even with our tiny car. A few people had to park outside the gate on the side of the road but overall it was a really good experience.

The art displayed through out the hotel is amazing. It is well maintained and there is a nice pool in site. I did not venture the entire hotel to see the rest, but it was well cared for. Staff is super friendly. Any issues you have gets resolved expeditiously.

The room was beautiful, loved the kitties at check-in! The grounds are gorgeous and staff was kind. Our sink would not drain - but we didn’t have time to call maintenance so we just made it work. I didn’t love the pillows (but that’s only a personal preference) that said - the bed was wonderful. We didn’t love the breakfast “buffet” and felt like it was overpriced for toast and cereal - however the coffee was spot on. I had the Alfredo for lunch and it was incredible. Overall a good experience with a few small things that weren’t my favorite. Area was quiet- good food and a cool beach about a mile or so walk from the hotel. Very safe and clean. Would stay again.

Room was just ok. Beds are very firm. Location was away from restaurants other than on location. Very disappointed to say our first day there, we went to breakfast at Hommage. We paid for food, added eggs to our continental breakfast. We waited patiently for silverware. No one came, after 30 minutes, my husband asked a server. She told him she did not speak English. Then, I heard her speaking English at the next table. We waited well over 2 hours, and asked the host a few times (with kindness) to have service. At one point, the host said he would go make the eggs. At almost 3 hours of waiting, we heard the host (very loud) speaking French, obviously speaking about us to a server. She tells her table that they lost our order. Several minutes pass, and the host came to us, and said they lost our order. We had spent all morning, on what should have been a quick breakfast. We said no thanks, we need to go now. I asked if he could credit my card for the food we paid for, and never received. He said no, and blamed the owner. We are kind, considerate people, and were refused service, after they took our money. Funny thing is, we would have eaten many meals there for the week we were visiting. I have sent an email to the hotel, with no response.

This destination offers a unique convergence of "island time" and the distinct, somewhat hands-off service ethos typically found in continental Europe. It is a culturally diverse landscape, and your experience will depend largely on your expectations. For travelers who prefer the pace and familiarity of North American-style hospitality, I highly recommend focusing your stay on the Dutch side of the island. However, for those seeking an authentic, non-North American atmosphere, the French side provides a wonderful departure from the status quo. Regarding accommodations, we stayed at Hommage Hotel. While it was a functional and convenient choice for our last-minute getaway, I would suggest considering it as a final option. While it served its purpose, there are arguably better value propositions and more strategic locations available if you have the time to book in advance.

Room was clean. Check in was quick and easy. The only negatives about this hotel are there are no ice machines. If you need ice you have to go to the bar which means there has to be staff at the bar. And it was difficult to get extra towels. Other than that, the stay was great and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Make sure you rent a car when staying at this hotel. There is very little around it. Not many stores and not many places to eat.

The room was in great condition. The staff was very friendly. There are no irons in the rooms and you have to go to the laundry room to iron. The light on the mirror in our bathroom did not work. There are no microwaves in the rooms and they do not provide wash cloths to bathe with. Other than that, the hotel was beautiful and the location was close to major locations on both sides of the island. This is not your stay at the Ritz Carlton, but it’s very nice and the overall look of the hotel is beautiful and an amazing place to take pictures!

Room was spotless and the staff was amazing - great team at the restaurant and wonderful food!!! also met the owner who was very friendly and we saw him working around the hotel as well. Pool was wonderful, and so lovely to walk around in the evening - all lit up in colours of red, green yellow. Recommended this to 2 families we met when our flight was cancelled and they enjoyed it as well. Small thing - wish the rooms had a microwave. But this is France - NOT - North Amercia! And the ambiance was wonderful.

The staff were very rude & not helpful. Our trip time was very limited. When we arrived at the hotel the room was not ready, it was already 4pm when we arrived at the hotel. So we decided to go to the bar to wait. The bartender was not friendly, she did not acknowledge us. We waited for five minutes for her to ask if we wanted to order a drink. An hour and a half later the room was ready however, no one called to let us know. We had to go back to the front desk to check on the room. No one helped with the baggage and to find the room. They gave us instructions, and it was incorrect. The room was mediocre. It didn’t even have an iron. There’s only one iron in the entire hotel. We had to leave the room to iron our clothing in the “luggage/baggage room”. Do not recommend to stay here, there are nicer hotels on the dutch side.
