"Overall, a good hotel and good value for money. Breakfast is good, except for the powdered eggs. Rooms are generally good, although the seals on the floor of my shower door leaked so as soon as I turned on the shower the entire bathroom would flood so I needed to block the seal with towels. The bed was good, black out curtains and relatively sound proofed depending on which side if the building you are. Relatively close to the train station and the old town. Some staff were very helpful and easy to deal with, others were quite cold."

"Our family stayed at the Maritim Hotel München for four nights and had a wonderful experience. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel’s excellent location right next to the main train station, making it incredibly convenient for traveling to the city’s attractions and day-trip destinations. The city center was only about a 10-minute walk away, and there were plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby. Overall, we had a great stay and would gladly choose Maritim Hotel München again on our next visit to Munich."

"Everything was super - room, staff, concierge. Air Conditioning is too warm for American standards. Breakfast buns/rolls (broetchen) at breakfast were too hard. I always looked forward to them, but was a bit disappointed this time. The white tablecloths still look wonderful and add such a classy look to the dining room and eating experience. So happy to see you still use them!"

"As a solo business traveler I can highly recommend this hotel. The location near U3 & S7 stations are within short walking distance, as are many restaurants, food shopping, pharmacy, hair salons, shopping, etc. No car is needed but there is parking at the hotel for your car. The small apartments are amazing with complete kitchen, bath, bed, sofa, desk, tables & safe. The Staff is just the BEST, very accommodating to all your needs! Amenities include a bar/restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, common outdoor space for your enjoyment, rooftop bar, sauna, fitness center & work space in the lobby. 24/7 front desk is a plus also. And above all, this hotel is extremely affordable!"

"Very disappointed with this Schwan Locke in Munich. We had stayed at the Edinburgh and had enjoyed our stay so we booked the Munich location. Right at the beginning we ran into issues. Poor signage for registration has you going from the main door on the right to the door on the left that has a registration sign with a small arrow referring you back to the other door. We pressed the door release and it wouldn’t open and the door was locked. I called the number with no answer and no response to an email. We banged on the door several times and finally someone came and said the button was slow. Staff at the desk spend most of their time scrolling their phones and seldom engage with the guests. The breakfast was fine but there was no toaster available in order to have toast with your bacon and eggs. I asked the kitchen rep and he said he had been asking management for a toaster but no success. This is strange since they supply a toaster in each room. There is no coffee maker in guest rooms which is another disappointment. Instructions left in the room on how to operate the oven/microwave would be helpful. None seen on the website or on the TV room info."
