The accommodation is modest, in the basement of a house, but it has a kitchen with the necessary appliances, including a toaster and a water boiler for tea, a bathroom, a bedroom and a lounge area with a futon. For 3 people it was enough. Being winter, there was a heater in the living, which was struggling to keep the area warm, but I can't say it was cold.
The space was clean, the hosts even gave us their cable box when the one in the basement malfunctioned and only showed one channel.
The communication was excellent, with quick replies. The host was very informative about skiing suggestions in Whistler.
There is no check in - check out procedure to talk about as checking in was as easy as opening the numerical lock with the provided combination and check out was just an acknowledgement of us leaving. Very easy.
Overall, while the location wasn't quite close to Whistler (40-45 minutes of driving) it was a much better choice that staying in the village. I would recommend it to anyone on a budget.
