「What an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home.」

We booked a garden suite where we could park outside and had a little court yard area with chairs to enjoy the summer sun. we had access to the gym and pool, steam room and sauna which was a lovely way to end our day. 「What a lovely find this hotel was. Very smart boutique hotel. Bar and staff were amazing and very attentive. Food was lovely. Room was very clean and everything was provided. Top spec toilet rolls, tea and coffee and shower gel, shampoo/conditoner. Short 10 min walk into town which is worth a look. Continental brekkie was all you could ask for and eat as much as you wanted too. Only ask would be biscuits in your room to go with the tea/coffee. Would definitely return again. 」

It is conveniently located very close to Wells market, the cathedral and Bishops Palace.
