"Older property so expect some dated furniture and wear and tear. Rooms could honestly use a refresh and new paint but hey, when in New Orleans, the time is had outside the room! The staff was pleasant but not as much attentive as they could have been. We encountered a problem with the AC in the room and despite multiple notifications to management, there was no resolve. Although it was a short two night stay, the agony of sweating during sleep wasn’t pleasant to say the least and I longed for home where I could be comfortable while resting. Not my idea of a home away from home. The breakfast was great and the omelette stations were excellent. That’s prob the best part of the stay. Also, a Great location. "

"There is no restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast is provided, it was very good and filling. The scenery was very nice, especially with a park right across the street. The block reminds me of the hood, however it was a nonviolence hood."

"First, let me start by commending Expedia for attempting to accommodate me for having a last-minute family emergency and trying to coordinate changing my trip dates directly with the hotel, with no communication or support from the hotel. At check-in I tried to explain the situation and asked what my options were, and I told to figure it out, which I did in the lobby while I had a sick husband at home to try to get home to. When I checked in, I was charged more than my Expedia receipt with no explanation from the front desk staff. My room was filthy. I have pictures of old toothpaste on the pillows, a dirty sink and bathtub that had not been cleaned, and a tv remote that had crumbs and a filmy substance all over it. The room never got below 75 degrees even with adjusting the thermostat. Needless to say, I will never stay here again."

"The hotel was nice. My room was just like any other hotel room but I could see flaws here & there nothing big. The place is so big it seemed to take forever to get from the parking garage to my room. I did not realize that they charge you $25 per day ($10 credit for food & drinks, & $15 for laundry), who would use $15/day for laundry?? I also had to pay $50 per day for parking!! Why don't they put the $15 laundry credit toward parking? That would make it much better at least for me. I went for a conference & saw family some of the evenings so I didn't have a chance to check out the pool or all the amenities. It was really close to a lot of places like the Riverwalk, river cruise, the mall was very close."
