"We had a great 5 night stay at the Villa Scacciapensieri. The room was cozy and very comfortable. We loved the outside of the facility, it was beautiful, flowers, lemon trees, beautiful landscape. The staff were good, the staff who worked breakfast were amazing! The front desk seemed a bit stressed out. We rented the bikes which was a blast! Our minor complaint, they refused to uncork a bottle of wine we planned to drink in our room. They gave us a beer opener, but not wine. The facility offers very little, which was what we were looking for, just FYI if you want extras"

"We found this place from my guide book of Rick Steve’s Tuscany guide. Because we picked up our car from Florence we need somewhere we can park and also walking distance to old town center. They have a few free parking spots but it’s first come first serve. The hotel is clean and nice. Staff is very friendly. It’s only about 10 mins walk to the plaza and walkable to almost every major sites. We highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Siena. "
