"This place was like an old abandoned japanese traditional style house, it’s good for only sleep at night.. The best thing of this property is it near to Shirahama beach which is the best beach in Shimoda in my opinion.. They don’t have parking which was inconvenient.."

"We had a really lovely stay here. We felt totally immersed in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The food was both delicious and always beautifully presented. We are really glad that we made this stop as part of our travels around Japan. Mount Fuji was mostly covered in isolated low level cloud, but we did get a gorgeous view once or twice. "It was a unique old building. Could use some updating. Food was expensive but not worth the price, not much else available nearby. Had to pay for beds or tables at the pool. "
