This is a huge resort. It was confusing because the first building where I arrived to check in wasn’t actually the right one, so they sent me to another building that was a bit farther away. Straight to the point: I didn’t like my room. Although I only stayed for one night, it was quite outdated, with mold on the shower curtain and in some areas of the bathroom. Everything in the room itself felt old — the duvets, the furniture, and the beds.
However, I should mention that the staff were very kind.
Need walk to the onsen, so cold & inconveniences; restaurant environment was excellent, no elevator that we have to walk with our luggage to the first floor
This hotel is very relaxing and it has a lot to offer. I really enjoyed the facilities and scenery. I also liked the option to save a little bit of money by not needing a room cleaning during our short stay. The only thing I wish was possible is that the breakfast was a little bit later.
room isn’t clean… the room smelled was moldy. There was spider web. It was one night, so I put up with it and stayed there. but another equipment is normal condition. if smell and spider issues resolved, i wanna stay again.

Old hotel. Lovely location.
Old hotel. Lovely location. Really in need of an overhaul as I believe the last one was probably back when Mt. fuji was springing from the ground and dinosaurs roamed the planet. Huge rooms. Mediocre onsen (hot spring bath). Although it is mentioned in the hotels.com listing that they have two restaurants and a bat, we were told upon check they have one restaraunt that required advanced reservations and no bar.
Very far from town which left us with the option to drive 8km each way to pick up groceries and enjoy in our room.
Last minute decision to stay here as friend was in town. Honestly there are much better places to stay in Izu.
