Japanese Business Hotel

Japanese customer service is bar none, the highest amongst other country. The staff speak English and are very welcoming. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of both western style and Japanese style cuisine. The room however is that of a typical business hotel in Japan. The mattress was as hard as a rock and the room had bugs inside of it. Wallpaper was peeling and the room had an unpleasant smell to it. If you absolutely need a place to stay for the night, this will do but if you have the chance to choose a better hotel, do so.

Good location for food and freeway connection. Several lots of free parking. Ideal for driving travellers. Nice view of Fuji on a sunny day. Good to have window fully openned for extra ventilation into the room, but its frame needs a little clean up.

They didn't have any non-smoking rooms so had to accept smoking room. The hotel is old and smell in the room was terrible and within 20 min of entering the room I had itchy eyes and throat. I tried to air it out with the A/C but the wall unit must have been as old as the hotel and it was saturated with tar. It made the room even stinkier and my eyes itchier. The mattress might has well have been made out of rock. 17 hours after checking out I still have issues with my eyes. For 12,000 Yen a night for a tiny room I'd say try to find something newer and cleaner in the area. Avoid!
