"Absolutely superb place to stay. I stayed for 3 nights as part of a business trip and was impressed mostly by the staff and service. The room was an excellent size and well appointed with high quality decor and en-suite, and a personalised welcome message. Parking was good although a little tight in places. The only slightly negative point is the road noise from around 6am, being in a main road, and with a room at the front of the property. Otherwise superb and will absolutely stay again in the future. "Quaint hotel with 5-Star service and atmosphere. Efficient layout that was workable in the available space, didn't feel cramped. Only down side was the time to draw hot water, especially at the sink, but even in the shower. However, once it got hot, it was very hot. Complimentary breakfast buffet was of high caliber. A pot of coffee or tea was served at your table upon being seated. Food selection included: juices, fruited waters, dry cereal and milk, fresh fruit, mini croissants (plain and chocolate), assortment of fresh bread baguettes and sliced bread, selection of jams, butter, sliced fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, sliced meats, sausage, bacon, sauteed mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, and scrambled eggs. We were informed that if a different form of cooked egg was preferred (fried, poached, boiled, etc) to ask the wait-staff at no charge. "

"This is the first time I've ever been to Legoland, and I'm an adult! We took our two young children and had such an amazing time. We were so impressed with the facilities, the park, the food, the staff. Such a lovely stay. "

"Beautiful old English manor dating back to the 1500's. Huge manicured grounds surround the building. We were only there for one night. There is a Michelin star restaurant on property. But we just had a light dinner and drinks in the bar. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and well stocked. Be aware that a big part of the charm is because it's an older building so I dont know if it had an elevator. We were on the second floor (third level) and it wasn't a problem walking up to our room."
