"Absolutely superb place to stay. I stayed for 3 nights as part of a business trip and was impressed mostly by the staff and service. The room was an excellent size and well appointed with high quality decor and en-suite, and a personalised welcome message. Parking was good although a little tight in places. The only slightly negative point is the road noise from around 6am, being in a main road, and with a room at the front of the property. Otherwise superb and will absolutely stay again in the future. "Beautiful old English manor dating back to the 1500's. Huge manicured grounds surround the building. We were only there for one night. There is a Michelin star restaurant on property. But we just had a light dinner and drinks in the bar. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and well stocked. Be aware that a big part of the charm is because it's an older building so I dont know if it had an elevator. We were on the second floor (third level) and it wasn't a problem walking up to our room."
