"The resort was great the problem is when you go to Belize you shouldn’t spend more than it cost to go to Grand cayman! They charged high prices for everything… I mean everything! Even ice for your room was expensive. Also there was really no beach to speak of at the resort and no where close to get in the water unless you go to secret beach which is super crowded. Super Over expensive. The pool was great, but I don’t go to the Caribbean to sit by a pool."
"It was great they had 2 pools... 1 of them on top floor with great view.
I liked that they didn't just come (early) for room service. We like to sleep in and we just dropped off the key when we wanted it done. Glad to support a hotel run by actual Belizeans rather than international owners. Nice central location close to water taxi."
"EXTREMELY loud. It’s right beside a busy road and the noise is constant and late into the night. Also beside the airport so you are listening to planes all day and it starts early morning.
Didn’t see any staff smile nor engage. Was sad after coming from caye caulker & it being so lively & friendly.
Beds were good. Room was dated and mirrors peeling but it was clean. Sargassum was thick & the wind never stops so the beach wasn’t as lovely as it was on caye caulker west. They should inform guests when they are spraying chemicals for mosquitos throughout the property, the worker was in a mask but there was no notices given to us."
"The Sunbreeze Hotel exceeded our expectations.
The Staff was very friendly, and helpful with arranging, adventures for us. the onsite restaurant and bar was very good. The property was beautiful, and well maintained.
We highly recommend this hotel."
"Little cabanas are spacious. Fridge, microwave, and sink. Couch and chair not the most comfortable, not the worst. Two Adirondack chairs outside each cabana. Not our favorite chairs, but others love them. Staff was great. Helpful, friendly. Cleaning staff also great and accommodating. Beautiful, large pool. Restaurant/bar right next to the pool on the beach. Not owned or associated with the resort so you can’t charge to your room. Good place to eat, drink, and hang. Resort is in a good area. By other resorts. Not far from the airport by golf cart. "
