Our host JC was incredibly gracious and is excellent and attentive to our requests. We can in the off season so the roads getting there were terrible due to wet season flooding but the Casa Nova made an effort to help us forget about the outside world. They offered kayaks, pattleboarding, games, and we were fortunate enough to be there when the new owners were onsite and they even invited us to watch a football game with them. Lots of fish and beautiful no sargussum beach to spend the day relaxing. Thank you for making our visit top notch.

The personal touch that you get from the couple that owns the place. So friendly and caring they have every thing taken care of , breakfast is A at night you feel safe it’s so Quiet location never rushed every recommendation they give highly recommend would definitely return

Kevin & Nova’s Cabanas are such a unique and amazing experience and secret beach in Belize. We booked the two beach front cabanas for a week and it was like we had a private home in Belize plus gourmet breakfast! Highly recommend if you like flexibility and privacy/b&b.

Couldn't have asked for a better stay

My new husband and I spent our honeymoon at Casa Nova. It was our first time in Belize, and we couldn't have asked for a better lodging experience. The hosts are incredible, the breakfast was terrific, and the host's dogs are super bright. We couldn't have asked more for our stay.

Very secluded, quiet, wonderful place. Owners are very nice, place is wonderful. A bit of a drive but if you want to relax and not be around anyone and have your own piece of paradise this is your spot. Thanks

It was a great place to stay! Unless you plan on just sitting out at the beach and relaxing you may want to rent a golf cart. There are several restaurants and bars in walking didtance , but of you want the night life and shopping you will have to make the trip to town. The owners were great, very friendly and made the best breakfast/coffee. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to SP.

What great hosts at a lovely spot on Secret Beach! Nova and Kevin were super friendly and even lobbied the neighborhood Facebook page to recover my wallet. That spoke both to their great help but also to the integrity of the people of Belize who returned my wallet with nothing missing. The private beach and amenities at Casa Nova were exceptional and room and bed amazing. Loved it and will try to stay there again someday!

My stay at Casa Nova Cabanas was absolutely fantastic. The room was spotless every single day, the bed was comfortable, and the AC kept things perfect after being out in the sun. The area overlooking the water became my go-to place...waking up to that view was unreal. At night the moon would make the water glow and I would sit out there watching the shooting stars and listening to some tunes. Phenominal. What really stood out, though, was the staff. JC was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care about how my stay was going. He was helpful without being intrusive, and made the whole place feel like home. He turned a great trip into a perfect one. Thank you JC!!! The property itself is quiet, beautifully maintained, and in a great location — close enough to relax with some entertainment at Secret Beach, yet far enough to stay peaceful. Everything felt clean, safe, and well cared for. Overall, just an excellent experience from start to finish. I’m looking forward to visiting again. Hope to see you there!

Nova and Kevin have a gem on their hands. They are both so kind and welcoming from the moment you arrive. Beautiful property, excellent breakfast each morning and a lovely beach in the backyard. Close to activities on secret beach and a few options to each nearby during the afternoon and evening. Met some wonderful guests while we were there. So thankful we found this lovely cabana by the beach. We will definitely be back sooner than later!

When I booked this place I thought it was a typical hotel however I was happily mistaken. This is a husband and wife small bed and breakfast at the end of secret beach. It was a long drive from San Pedro in the golf cart however it was well worth it . It was a beautiful oasis off the grid. The owners were hospitable, welcoming and friendly . They cooked breakfast for us every morning during our stay and it was delicious. If you are looking for a romantic, beautiful and quiet place to yourself this is it!!!

We picked the right place

This was a perfect quiet and private get-away. A great location with seaweed-free water and combed white sand. The view from our room was divine. Room and deck were cleaned every day, and the place is nicely decorated with tropical plants. Our hosts were extremely helpful and pleasant and thought of everything you might need, such as sunblock and bug spray, access to coffee, liquor, drinks and snacks, and paddle boards and floats. They also make a mean breakfast every morning. The Caye itself is not perfect, but our stay at Nova Cabanas was perfect. 10/10.

Our room was amazing with the lay out and an ocean view and walk out access. Jaime and Kay (the property managers) were wonderful (attentive and responsive) and our meals were culinary caliber and freshly prepared. The area was peaceful (no wall to wall bars like San Pedro) and NO sargassum! iIt is a bit of a trek from San Pedro but well worth it! The only concern we had was with their golf cart recommendation of MTK as the cart was older and had no suspension and comparing to other companies a big disappointment-the owner of MTK was not accommodating with reducing our rate

Great place

Great stay, great hosts and staff. The beach looks like it is from a movie. If you want a beach, you have to stay on the west side of the island due to the sea grass that builds up. The west side is calm with no waves, beautiful, but is about a 30 minutes golf cart ride.
