"I enjoyed my stay at Residence Inn by Marriott San Mateo. Although I booked through Expedia, they waived the parking fee because of my Marriott membership and provided bottled water and snacks at check-in, which was a nice touch—especially after arriving late. The hotel’s layout feels more like a condo community than a typical hotel, giving it a relaxed, vacation-like vibe. There was also a good selection for the free breakfast."

"The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The area was clean and if felt safe. When there was an issue with the AC, we reported it to the manager and it was fixed the next day. Own stay was 25 days and the maids cleaned once a week, which is reasonable but can be hard if you didn't pack anything to clean with youor plan to bring a broom. We were in the hotel most of the time as my wife was recovering from surgery. If you plan on staying long and stay in, to bring a few cleaning items. All...

"Great place to stay. We needed a place last minute and this was perfect. Free parking and breakfast for a very reasonable price. The man at the front desk was very nice and checked us in right away. The only downside for us was the noise from street traffic, but other then that a great experience!"
