「Everything is clean and the staff is amazing. We stay in a lot of hotels and travel a lot, and the staff at the Hampton Inn in Gilroy is really one of the best. However, their breakfast are awful. Again the staff does their best, but the food quality is really bad. Also, we had a seven day stay and we needed to request housekeeping. And most of the hotels where we stay if you’re over three days, you automatically get a housekeeping. I think they should rethink that policy because it’s kind of...

「The office was not clearly marked and the couple that was helping me check in (I believe the owners) were arguing with raised voices. The room was run down and a lot smaller than expected. The bathroom had hair stuck to the walls in different places. The parking lot was a one lane and no way to get out at the other end which made it difficult to leave.」

「I got what I paid for. It was noisy both from street noise and from others coming and going all night. I couldn’t get the tv to work and was told 15 minutes later someone would stop by and it was over an hour and then I got treated like I was dumb even though their own employee couldn’t help me initially. Also any hotel with no deadbolt is a no for me.」

「You get what you pay for is what my husband said to me. I had to laugh because he was right. The staff was friendly though and tentative. So that was a plus. We checked in to our room and realized that the door doesn’t have the chain lock. So we felt weird and put a chair to block the door knob. Then I went to shower and the shower head wasn’t working. 「Plenty of well lite parking. Rooms are recently remodeled and updated. Although the parking lot was full when I left at 5: 00 in the morning.... you would have never known. I didn't hear anybody in any adjacent rooms. This is a hotel.... a bed and a bathroom and a small counter. This is not an extended stay suite with three televisions, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, a full kitchen and dining area, washer and dryer....no this is exactly what it is a motel.
