"We stayed in one of the cottages. They looked freshly updated and had a parking space and picnic table in a little courtyard right outside the door. It was clean and spacious with comfortable beds and only 5 mins from cannery row. We love the relaxing atmosphere and will definitely return."

"Priscilla was extremely attentive and professional, even though she was brand new. She made our stay easy and memorable. The grounds were beautiful and the room was just what we needed. I have been staying at this hotel since I was a kid and would like to see some of the amenities come back. They used to have wine and cheese in the evenings and it was a great way to unwind after a long day at the aquarium with the fire going strong. They also used to sell aquarium tickets at the hotel, which made planning a lot easier. The breakfast was good (especially with kids) but they used to have make to order omelets which gave it a little bit more of a personalized feel. I love this hotel, I just want to see it return to its former glory…"

"Clean comfortable rooms. Not thrilled with the desk staff. We waited quite a while for check-in as they answered as multiple calls. We were surprised by the mandatory $15 dollar fee per day for minimum hotel purchases. We enjoyed the breakfast - five stars for the breakfast manager George T who was very helpful and friendly!"
