"Host double booked on VRBO and other major house sharing platform. I had booked 2 months in advance (and paid) but got notice 3 hours before checking in ( was in a plane heading there) that “sorry” but could not take me that they would honor a cancellation like they were doing me a favor. From perfect accommodations to wonderful food and generous help, we had everything we needed in order to make an uncomfortable situation an extremely pleasant experience.
