We had an absolutely lovely stay in The Loft. The apartment itself was perfect, with a very thoughtful welcome hamper and everything we needed for breakfast included. It was clean and spacious with a lovely loft living area for relaxing in the evenings. A 5 min drive to the centre of historic Rye which has many sights and eating options and a great base for exploring Romney Marsh, Camber Sands and Dungeness. Would absolutely stay again!

The Loft
This is a lovely place to stay. Stuart greeted us on arrival and the Loft was warm and cosy with everything we needed including a basket of treats and eggs for breakfast. There are lovely views of the grounds and countryside. Nice walks from the property and Rye is close by car. Would thoroughly recommend.

We cannot recommend Humphries Cross highly enough. It is a lovely property for a holiday exploring the Rye/Weald of Kent area or just for a quit, restful break.

Thank you for making our stay special!!
We arrived on Saturday and was amazed by the lovely view this place has to offee, the host were absolutely amazing very welcoming and friendly.
They left us a beautiful hamper with some essentials, we were taken back by the amount of space this place has to offer.
It's really close to shops, restaurants and the famous camber sand beach.
We stayed in ground floor apartment sorry no pics but what you see on their profile is true to description. It's well layed out and cozy we wished we could stay a bit longer, but we will leave that for anytime 😊.
Definitely a place to go to relax and reconnect.

Perfect stay in rural location near Rye
Lovely comfortable, spacious apartment with great views over fields. We stayed in The Retreat for a week. The place was immaculately clean and well equipped for self-catering. There was a generous pack on our arrival of breakfast stuff and a nice bottle of wine, as well as a vase of fresh flowers. The heating was easy to use and it was good to have full control of it as the weather was quite variable during our stay. Stuart, our host, was helpful and quick to respond to our questions. We would definitely recommend the apartment as an excellent base for exploring the area. It’s also a comfy place to eat in and relax in during the evenings - good WiFi.
The village of Iden is 5-10 minutes walk away. Iden has a pub and a small general store/ post office for basics. Rye is a short drive away.

Lovely gift of groceries left for us upon arrival. Kitchen well equiped for our cooking needs. Great place to stay!
Fabulous stay in a lovely apartment - very comfortable, great bathroom with big shower. Welcome box was a real bonus! So convenient for visiting Rye and surrounding area - hope to be back!
Lovely quiet country location close by to Rye.
The room was clean and cosy and nice to see wine and Matchmakers waiting for us as well as complimentery bread, eggs and milk which was greatly appreciated.
Clare wasn't well when we arrived and our hosts were kind enough to lend her a thermometer which was very kind!!
All in all a great stay and we will certainly be back in the summer ;-))
A quiet week of self catering in a lovely location and in a very comfortable apartment. There was plenty of equipment in the kitchen and the washing machine was very useful. Good walks around the area and the village of Iden had good character with a nice pub.
Visited Rye, Sissinghurst Castle and Great Dixter - all most 1nteresting

Landleben
It's a beautiful area, in proximity to Rye, with country walks in the immediate vicinity. The property is immaculate tidy & clean, and very tastefully decorated. It was nice touch to provide a welcome crate of groceries including a bottle of wine !
Perhaps could do with a sign or clearer signage at the entrance to the drive.
Everything you could want, an ideal base for the great variety, in all directions and close at hand, the kind gesture of a 'welcome basket' with a few treats, you soon felt at home, would gladly recommend and return. Self-catering gives the opportunity to buy the fine local produce for meals and save on restaurant bills.

Peaceful stay away from it all.
Quiet and peaceful location set on the edge of a village with a local shop and pub five minutes walk away. The owners were welcoming and helpful and they provide you with a lovely welcome pack of essentials and the bottle of wine is a nice touch. The apartment we stayed in is in need of a refresh and isn't as nice as the other two apartments but everything worked.
We stayed at Humphries Cross Apartments for three nights in The Retreat.
It's a beautiful, well kept apartment in a quiet location. There are beautiful views from the bedroom and the living area looking out over the garden and fields beyond, there are lots of rabbits to be seen around the grounds.
Kitchen was well stocked, there was free tea and coffee, bread, eggs, milk, butter and scones, as well as a lovely welcome pack ready for us on arrival.
The furniture was stylish and comfortable, it's the perfect size for a couple. Bathroom was very modern with a gorgeous shower and towels were provided.
There is a reserved parking space for each apartment, and a communal outdoor seating area perfect for summer evenings. It is well located, a short drive to Rye, Camber Sands and other local attractions.
I also needed to contact the owners of the apartments before arriving and received a speedy, friendly response. Their email address can be found via their website.
