"When we first opened the door, the stairs were daunting but after getting our heavy bags up to the room level, all was good, very good. Our room was a quite comfortable and our bathroom, while private was down the hall. Breakfast was wonderful and is seven indoors when chilly and outdoors when warm. There is a large purpose living space overlooking a pedestrian area. The recreations and shops all around. You are one block from the water and the beach. A great place to stay and close...

"I loved everything about the hotel. We stayed in the suite for 3 nights prior to a cruise. The room, staff, location...everything was wonderful. I just want others to be aware of 2 things. 1)The website clearly quotes airport transfer shuttle for €50 for car, not pp. We were greeted at the airport by a very friendly driver & transported safely to the hotel...the fee however, was €150(€175 if paying with credit card). When discussed with the owner she just replied that transportation is seperate...

"The apartment is very spacious with a balcony showcasing beautiful views of the sea. We were able to make it our home away from home for a one month stay in Anzio. The location is perfect for easy walks to the restaurants, cafes, & shops in town, walks on the beach, or to the train station for quick (1 hr. 6 min.) day trips into Rome. Clara Censon was a great host, extremely helpful, quick to respond to any questions and provided many good restaurant recommendations. Our only negative comment,...

"Simple, clean, inexpensive hotel for a one night transition stay is perfect. Quite dated, but quaint. Rooms need more or brighter lighting Lovely lobby with friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was simple, coffee was delicious and made to order. Easy walk to port, even with luggage. Nice surrounding restaurants. "

"The property was clean, safe, and a short distance from the train. You do need to climb a flight of stairs to reach the room and you are asked to pay a tourist tax, 2 euros/person/night (cash). The room is conveniently located to shopping and dining. The room is walkable distance to the cruise ships, approximately 2 miles. "
