Excellent stay before heading to FCO

Unfortunately, we just stayed one night before heading to the airport. The room was fantastic. Small kitchen, plenty of space, excellent huge bathroom, pool, and everything was very clean. The wonderful hosts were very friendly and helpful.

The couple were great and I recommend them fully. Very nice and clean place and their attention to detail was second to none. The husband picked us up at the airport and was ver informative about the area especially Ostia Antica. He recommended a great restaurant La Brace Dei Matti, excellent food and atmosphere. All around great 5 star experience and I’m looking forward to stay there again.

Lanfranco stayed up to 2 am to welcome us to his beautiful home. The property is in the lovely Ostia Antica, a Roman city that is better preserved and larger than Pompeii. He made sure everything was perfect for us. He drove us to the ruins, picked us up and took us to the airport. We couldn't have been happier with the service. Plus, the room was clean, quiet and safe. This is what a B&B should be. There was also a pool on the property, but sadly we didn't have much time to spend.

Stayed one night here and it was very lovely. Swimming and sun chair helps to relax after the flight, quite near to the airport too. The apartment was very clean and tidy, had everything you need. The only thing I’d say to the visitors is that put that mosquito repellent (provided in the apartment) as soon as you get there. I spent about 3 minutes with the host whilst he was explaining everything about the apartment and the mosquitoes had already found their way in! Everything else was very pleasant. The couples are very lovely and interesting to talk to. I’d definitely book again when I’m in Rome.

We enjoyed our short stay in Ostia Antica. We had an early flight and Flavia was able to book a taxi that arrived on time at 4:30;am. Excellent breakfast offering of eggs, bacon, bread and lots of pastries. Wish we had been able to partake. Transportation was provided from the train station and around town. This is a shared property with the kitchen, but we never heard the other occupants come in. We will plan to stay longer next time to enjoy this small town. Thank you so much!

We stayed at Gens Mundi B&B only on our last day of vacation. We arrived from Roma Termini and took the Metro to Ostia Antica metro station. Lofranco, the host was generous enough to pick us up at the metro station. Both him and his wife very friendly people. Gens Mundi is a very well kept property. Very clean and comfortable, Appreciated the breakfast which was included in the shared kitchen. We stayed in the front unit. The small bungalow has a California feel to it. Nice pool and beautiful bougainvillea flowers blooming in the front. We did not get to explore the area much but it is located in a quiet neighbourhood and there were quite a few options of restaurants within walking distance. The host gave us a ride to the airport for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend. Good value for your money.
