7Bells house is a unique boutique hotel directly across from the Civitavecchia port. Our 2-night stay was comfortable, and our host was so helpful with everything. Our room was spotless, and breakfast (continental) was very good. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Central location. Amazing air-conditioning - particularly in the July weather. Really comfortable beds, spacious bathroom. Simple but tasty breakfast. Great place to stay before getting our cruise. Nice to stay in a beautiful old building that has been restored and updated. Great location and has an elevator. Not sure if I missed it when I booked, but breakfast is not included, only coffee. Which is fine, plenty of options nearby. Love the outdoor patio - nice view and perfect for breakfast or relaxing after dinner. Spacious room and bathroom. Made arrangements for us to get to the cruise port area.

Ideal location, walkable from the train station, a straight forward walk along the promenade and walkable to the cruise port. Fillipe, our host was lovely, friendly and warm. The rooms were clean and extremely comfortable and the breakfast fresh and plentiful. Would definitely recommend.

For entry in the morning, press the buzzer on the outside of the building at Largo Plebiscito, 23. Filippo came to the front door to welcome us and bring us directly to check in. The hotel is inside a larger building but once one is familiar with the setup, access is easy. Room is clean and simple, including a refrigerator, with ample control of the AC to make it as cool or warm, (we were here in early July, hot days) as desired. Very nice breakfast area available 24x7. Excellent location for restaurants, cafe's, "PAM" grocery store 5 minute walk. If you have luggage and are heading to a cruise ship, highly recommend asking Filippo to arrange a taxi/van pickup (better than Uber) which will bring you right to the cruise terminal adjacent to the ships. While the port is close (5-minutes), it's a long walk to get to the ship boarding terminal. If 7Bell's House is full, highly recommend Palazzo Alibrandi next door at Largo Plebiscito, 14. Filippo manages Palazzo Alibrandi as well.

We enjoyed Civitavecchia even more than Rome and felt even safer there day and night. Lots of shopping around and plenty of eating options. The reception was great and they were very helpful. Staff ordered a 'taxi' for us to go to the port for our cruise and it was late, but the owner stayed outside with us and kept phoning the taxi service and assured us that we were okay and it only cost 10 Euros each to go right to the ship's place at the port so that was awesome. The breakfast is limited but you can eat as much as you like. The security is also very good and the location was awesome! There are so many 'shops' around - it is all very interesting. Purchased some clothing as well - very cute options and people were very friendly - marvelous gelato!!

The staff was amazing. They got us into the room early. We were able to walk to the train to go to Rome and Florence. The mattress on the bed is very thin and hard.if you have back issuses, not a place for you. This place served the purpose for us. We just needed a place to stay before our cruise.
