「Great place, idyllic. Be sure to get good directions from the host. 104 Fredericksburg rd took us the wrong way. Once we called and figured out where the entrance was we were good. Great spot.」

「We loved this location. Easy access to Wintergreen, or breweries and wineries along 151. The property is private and quiet, with a great piece of the Rockfish River flowing through. The house itself is so charming - we loved the modern yet rustic feel and the bed was so comfortable (the King size was a nice surprise since the listing said Queen)! We hope to be back soon when we're able to stay longer.」

I do feel like there could be some areas of improvement with cleaning as all the picture ledges, lamp shades and some of the walls have layers of dust and I’m not sure if the place was swept or vacuumed before we came. I understand it’s in the middle of the woods but the amount of living and dead stink bugs was astonishing!! Not sure if pest control could help that out since one fell on me on the couch oh and...

The layout of the cottage was perfect, simple, charming, and cozy. 「We stayed here twice in a week - roundtrip between PA & TN/NC - halfway point.Both times - just a fantastic experience. Even met the owners - Jill & Buddy... and, their 3 daughers. Stayed in the cottage named for their son... although we didn't meet him!Wonderful family. These cottages simply cannot get any better. Jill and Buddy have outstanding taste. High end decor.
