"Staff was excellent. Property was nice, rooms were pretty small but comfortable and clean. My only gripe was the lack of a fridge or in room microwave or something. Not the end of the world, but definitely a small bummer. Neighborhood isn't as bad as others review, it's just San francisco. I just kept my wits about me walking at night and never felt unsafe. Would be happy to stay again. "

"The photo you shows is not of the real place. The place is a dump, it is not fit for anyone. Staff are rude, rooms are dirty, Internet doesn’t work, they don’t clean the rooms, bath room have no towels. I arrived late at night and didn’t have any choice but to spend a night there. It was the worst experience of life. "

"The staff is amazing. Angela helped us at check in. We told her this was our first time in San Fran and asked if there was a room with a view. For a nominal fee we were given a room with a balcony and seating overlooking the harbour. Absolutely worth every penny. She is friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about the hotel and the area. We also have to mention Jenny. She is a manager with the food service side, and she is also friendly, professional, eager to make sure your stay is perfect. Cannot say enough about the wonderful time we had while in San Fran at the Hyatt Embarcadero. "

"location is convenient but not in a safe area. walls are really thin, can hear everything from the next door room. called front desk about noise complaint, they did nothing. amenities are really old, carpet smells. NO AC. radiator heater seems to go off automatically but cannot be adjusted in room. keys to enter room would frequently not work and had to go to the front desk multiple times to fix . overall would not stay again, doable for maybe one night only though. "
